HI, I’M HANA

I architect high-end brands for ambitious founders in just 90 days.

A black and white photo of a woman with short hair, wearing a long-sleeved turtleneck shirt and wide-legged striped pants, standing with one arm crossed over her chest and the other hand resting on her shoulder, against a plain background.

Everything you are, every skill, every experience, every instinct, is raw material. The question is never whether you have what it takes. The question is whether you have the architecture to build from it.

My approach is precise, premium, and built to last. Substance first. Structure second. Beauty always. Scale that compounds.

Some founders hand me the whole build. Others come out of hiding and build it with me. Either way, you leave with a brand that finally matches what you're carrying.

Ways to work with me

A wooden table with a disposable coffee cup, a blank spiral notebook, a black pen, and a white notepad on top of it, with a textured gray floor underneath.

Programs

Where ambitious experts build their brand and signature offer.

Not ready to start a build, but need a little guidance? I would love to assist you!

About Me

I'm Hana Catlett. I'm a brand architect.

I built my own brand from scratch, from a small island in the Caribbean to Los Angeles, with no money, no plan, and a gift I didn't know how to name.

I want to be specific about that last part, because it's why I do this work. I wasn't short on ability. I was short on language. I could do the thing, but I could not say the thing, and for years I mistook that silence for humility. It wasn't. It was hiding, and it cost me time I’ll never get back.

Today I run OCTESSENCE, a strategic design studio, and I created the OCTESSENCE Method™, an 8-element brand development system used by founders, executives, and creatives to build high-end brands. I've worked one-on-one with dozens of founders and coached more than 100 people through accountability sprints.

Some of them hand me the whole build. Others come out of hiding and build it with me. Either way, you leave able to name what you've been carrying, and fiinally charge for it.
